“Spent 2 nights here during the ski season located around 80 metres of bourke st just below the Alberg Hotel is a great location but is a bit of walk up from the Grocers. Has great kitchen and lounge common area with space for storing your supplies. The bedroom was a little bit cramped with a double bunks on either side to sleep 5. Hostess of the lodge was welcoming and courteous. Overall the stay was enjoyable.”
“I lived in this lodge both in summer and winter skiing season. Very convenient location, especially during skiing season. 5-8mins walking (with the bulky skiing boots) to Bourke Street Run. 2-3mjns walking to Shakey Knees run 5mins walking to the top of Bourke Street Express Chairlift. The rooms are simple ( bunk beds and shared bathrooms) but very clean. Communal area I mean the kitchen area is very big and full of utensils and tools that for cooking. The managers are helpful and amazing. Definitely will come back again and again. TIPS: should book 2-3 months ahead during skiing season, otherwise it’s very hard to book a bed.”
“A clean space with all the features you'd need in a place to stay on the mountain. The stand out would be the spacious and well organised communal dining/kitchen/lounge area - complete with a large modular lounge facing an open fire place. The hosts are very accommodating and friendly too. We would definitely choose Kandahar Ski Lodge as our place to stay again.”
“Very good place to stay if you about skiing and snowboarding. Got place to leave your staff, heated room for your clothes and boots. Excellent common area with fireplace, everything you need for cooking, big TV, table games, warm atmosphere and excellent views”
“We stayed at Kandahar Ski Lodge for 2 nights and was very impressed. Firstly, the hosts Matt and Kaylene were very lovely and hospitable. The lodge was extremely clean and very well kept. The shared spaces were comfortable, cozy and well equipped. Location was also great. Only a 5-10 min walk to the village (depending how fast you walk) and 1-2 min walk to the slopes. We will definitely stay at Kandahar again!”
